Privacy notice

Who is responsible
Businesses use HashTalks to answer the messages people send them on WhatsApp and Instagram. The business you message decides what is done with your messages and is responsible for them. hashinclude runs HashTalks for that business and handles your information only on its behalf and on its instructions. Each business’s information is kept apart from every other business’s.
What is stored
- Your phone number or Instagram account id, the name on your profile, and the messages you exchange with the business.
- Notes the business’s staff add about your enquiry, such as what you asked about and when you asked to be contacted.
- A record of when you agreed to or declined marketing messages, and how.
How it is used
To answer your questions, handle bookings and reminders you asked for, and send updates only to people who opted in. An AI service reads incoming messages to draft replies; routine answers may be sent automatically only when they come from information the business has published, such as its prices, locations and timings, and a person reviews anything else.
Marketing messages and opting out
Marketing messages are sent only with your consent. Reply STOP to any message, or tap the opt-out button in it, and you will not receive further marketing from that business. Service messages about something you booked may still be sent.
Who else handles it
Messages travel through Meta’s WhatsApp and Instagram platforms under Meta’s terms. The AI service that drafts replies (Anthropic) processes message text for that purpose. Your information is not sold, and is not shared with anyone else except where the law requires it.
Your rights and data deletion
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information held about you. Ask the business you messaged, or email hello@hashinclu.de and say which business it concerns. Your contact record, conversation history and notes are removed within 30 days, keeping only the record of your opt-out where that is needed to respect it.
